MotoGP: Bastianini: “There’s a good chance I’ll be racing in Austin”

As we anticipated, Enea Bastianini won’t be undergoing surgery after having fractured his scapula in Portimão. The Ducati rider was reassured by doctors and, in a few days, specifically on Monday, he’ll be able to start rehab. This means that he’ll have less than ten days to get back into shape for the Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin.

The visits have been quite positive. Fortunately, the scapula fracture is partial, and I’ll be able to start rehab next Monday,” Enea commented. “There’s a good chance that I’ll be racing in Austin, so the goal is to get back in shape for that Grand Prix. I’ll obviously have to be ready to ride a MotoGP bike. It’ll have to be worth it. We’ll decide what to do later on.”
