Moto3: Jerez test: total domination by Bulega

As the sun fades, the second day of Moto3 testing comes to an end at Jerez, and while day one saw some balanced sessions, today saw one single rider dominate to close all three of the day's sessions at the front of the pack.

The man in question is team Sky rider Nicolò Bulega, who proves his affinity with the Jerez track, stopping the clock on 1’46”232 during the morning, improving on the best time set yesterday Canet. And it is the Spaniard who closes second, just 131 thousandths behind the Italian. Just like yesterday, third place goes to Jorge Martin (+0.183), while in fourth we have an increasingly encouraging Romano Fenati (+0.254).

Fifth for Gabriel Rodrigo (+0.407), followed by Juanfran Guevara (+0.505), Marcos Ramirez (+0.526) and Bo Bendsneyder ( +0.574). Rounding out the top ten are Joan Mir (+0.646) and Darryn Binder, seven tenths from the leader and following in the footsteps of big brother Brad. Just outside of the top ten, but having nevertheless put on a positive performance, is Lorenzo Dalla Porta, who places eleventh with his #48 Mahindra almost eight tenths from Bulega. 13th place for Andrea Migno (+0.854), while Enea Bastianini is 15th, almost a second off the pace.

Niccolò Antonelli finishes in 17th position, 1.249 seconds from the front. Further down the timesheets is a convalescing Fabio Di Giannantonio, 22nd (+1.515), ahead of Sasaki and the Italian pairing of Marco Bezzecchi and Tony Arbolino, 24th and 25th respectively and more than a second and a half from Bulega. Pulkkinen brings up the rear, preceded by the Mahindra of team CIP and Manuel Pagliani (30th at +2.231).
