The big day has finally arrived. This afternoon, on the Jerez track, Nicolò Bulega tested the Ducati MotoGP bike for the first time. It was a long-awaited Thursday for the Aruba rider, who began to gain confidence with the Rossa ahead of the double round in Portimao and Valencia.
Unfortunately for Nicolò, it was a race against time, because the weather had its hand in it between yesterday and today. The initial plan was to test Michelin tyres on the Superbike on Wednesday and then devote the entire Thursday to MotoGP.
Instead, rain ruined the plans, forcing the riders to be stuck in the pits for the entire Wednesday. Activity then began on Thursday as the sun broke through the clouds and the track dried out.
