Race against time: Bulega will only have half a day to test the MotoGP bike

The rain that fell today in Jerez messed up the plans of Nicolò, who will only have half a day to get familiar with the GP25. Baldassarri is also in action with the Ducati test team.

SBK: Race against time: Bulega will only have half a day to test the MotoGP bike

As we mentioned before, it was the rain that ruined the first day of Michelin testing at the Jerez de la Frontera track, denying the riders the opportunity to put some laps down in optimal conditions. However, weather forecasts speak of a marked improvement in weather conditions tomorrow, which should offer mostly clear skies, with a few scattered clouds.

Which is precisely what they are especially hoping for, Nicolò Bulega and Ducati, called upon to condense the work to be done on the Andalusian track into a single day. A double commitment for the Romagna rider, who, according to what we have learned, will have to face half a day riding the Michelin-shod Panigale V4 R and the other half on the Ducati MotoGP bike. In a race against time, to get familiar with the GP25 and be ready and prepared for the Grands Prix in Portimao and Valencia. Where the Borgo Panigale factory would like to field him as a replacement for Marc Marquez.

Joining Nicolò and his new teammate Iker Lecuona at Jerez will be test rider Michele Pirro, who is present with the MotoGP test team, and new Go Eleven team rider Lorenzo Baldassarri. Weather permitting, the Marche rider will in fact have the opportunity to make his first laps on the new Panigale V4 R, taking over from Bulega on the Ducati test team's SBK when the latter makes his MotoGP debut.
