A major setback for Bautista: he’s fractured his ankle and heel bone and is out of action

The Spaniard's crash in FP3 at Most came at a high cost, forcing him to end his race weekend early
Alvaro Bautista

FP3 at Most took a heavy toll—a very heavy toll, in fact—on Álvaro Bautista. In the final moments of the session, the Barni rider crashed and was subsequently taken to the medical center for evaluation.

According to the results of the examinations, the #19 suffered a fracture of the right medial malleolus, as well as fractures of the metatarsal and calcaneus. The rider was declared unfit to race due to these fractures.

Bautista will therefore not take part in the remainder of the race weekend.
