Fourteenth in the morning and 15th in the afternoon Andrea Iannone did what he could on the first day of SBK testing at the Misano circuit. The GoEleven team rider, still not in perfect shape due to the double fracture in his right foot suffered in Free Practice 1 at Most on May 16, tried to carry out the plan laid out for this Tuesday without pushing too much in the battle against the stopwatch.
"I managed to do a lot of laps today, 66 in total, which is not bad considering the injury occurred only ten days ago - were his words entrusted to his Instagram page - I had to manage the pain, but I still managed to complete the work program."
Despite the physical difficulties he encountered, the feedback he received was quite positive. "The feelings are not bad, however we still lack some speed, mainly in the fast part of the track. Tomorrow we will try some new solutions, focusing on the race pace and try to make a step forward," he concluded.
As a reminder, the next round on the calendar will take place precisely on the Italian track from June 13 to 15.
