All that was missing was the official announcement and now it has arrived: the partnership between Adrian Huertas and the Aruba Racing team in World Supersport will come to an end after just one season together. In fact, the roads of the Spanish rider and the Ducati team will separate at the end of the current championship, to allow the Madrilenian to land in Moto2 under the banner of the Italtrans team.
This is a new chapter in the career of Huertas, who currently leads the world championship standings with 260 points and a 20-length margin over Yari Montella. The result of the 8 victories and 11 total podiums so far accrued riding the Ducati Panigale V2. A roster that Adrian will try to maintain also in the last five Rounds with the colors of the Aruba team, to leave as champion the WorldSSP Championship.
A goal shared with the whole team, ready to support Adrian to the fullest until the end of the season. "The whole team would like to thank Adrian and wish him luck in his new adventure - reads the note released by the team to announce the separation - Before we hug and say goodbye, however, there are still 5 more rounds to go and for this reason the whole team is driven to make every effort to try to get the most prestigious target at the end of this season and thus reap the benefits of the great work done together."
