SBK: Italtrans evaluating a surprise move: Adrian Huertas!

Adrian Huertas is the protagonist of this 2024 season in Supersport. Riding Aruba's Ducati V2, the Spaniard is in fact leading the series by 20 points over Yari Montella. His performance has certainly not escaped the notice of insiders, so much so that his name has ended up at the center of the transfer market.

In the SBK paddock, Huertas has attracted the interest of teams such as Go Eleven and Motocorsa, but not only those, because Huertas's name has also begun to make a splash in the MotoGP paddock, more specifically in Moto2.

According to what has been learned, Italtrans is in fact evaluating the youngster, born in 2003, with a view to bringing him to ride the Kalex next season. The Bergamo-based team, which is managed by Laura Bertulessi, and in its entourage sees the presence of Livio Suppo as a consultant, has put the Spaniard in its sights to flank Diogo Moreira for 2025.

Apparently Dennis Foggia's performance is not at all convincing, and in addition, the rider from Rome's contract is expiring at the end of the season, so as a result the possibility that he may join new projects for next season is gaining more and more ground.

So all that remains to do now is to see the evolution of the negotiation situation with Huertas, the first name at the top of the list for Italtrans in view of 2025.
