VIDEO - Cairoli puts Ducati cross bike to the test on Dovizioso’s track

Ducati officially presented its cross bike, the Desmo 450 MX, a month ago in Madonna di Campiglio. Now we can get to see it in action in the Monster video, as 9-time world champion Tony Cairoli gets it “dirty” in the mud on a track known to all Borgo Panigale fans: the 04 Park in Monte Coralli, the circuit managed and redesigned by Andrea Dovizioso.

“I’ve always been a Ducati fan, and I would’ve liked them to have arrived in motocross during my best years. It’ll be nice to take this bike to its highest levels,” Tony said in his role as test rider. Many  would like to see him at least once in a race with the Ducati. The rider from Sicily hasn’t entirely closed the doors on this possibility: “I retired, but I still enjoy riding. We’ll see.”
