News: Fatal accident at the Spa-Francorchamps Bikers Festival

It was supposed to be two days of celebration, but they were overshadowed by a tragedy. One of the participants, an 84-year-old German man, died at the Bikers Festival in Spa-Francorchamps. The accident happened on the starting line of the parade, when the man crashed into the group without braking. It is not clear if he suddenly fell ill.

The facts were reported by the Belgian website, hln.be. The impact occurred between La Source and Radillon, when the participants were at a standstill, simulating a starting line, during a lap of honor. The impact was violent, and four other people were probably also injured in the accident.

This was the first edition of the event, with great names in motorcycling involved, including Giacomo Agostini, Didier de Radiguès, Wayne Gardner, Barry Baltus, and Michael Dunlop. None were involved in the accident.
