At the end of the race, Marc told Sky reporters that the penalty was inflicted for the maneuver that caused the accident with Miguel Oliveira’s Aprilia in the Portuguese Grand Prix. In fact, the FIM Steward Panel decided that Marquez will have to face a double long lap penalty during the next race.

Which race is that? On paper, it’s Argentina. But, as he himself admitted, he doesn’ yet know if he’ll be at the start of the Termas de Rio Honda round due to a possible broken hand.

In Barcelona tomorrow he’ll be told if he’s foing be racing or not.
