Marc Marquez has returned home after being operated on for the fourth time on his right arm at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. The surgery was a success (the humerus was rotated by almost 30 degrees) and now the recovery begins for the Honda champion. It will not be a quick process, it will last a few months, but the rider from Cervera has already shown in the past that he is not intimidated by difficulties.

Alberto Puig took stock of the situation on motogp.com.

"The operation went well, Dr. Sanchez Sotelo was very happy and Marc is already in Spain - said the team manager - he will start his recovery slowly, following the doctors' instructions. We are very happy that he is back home and that he can start thinking about recovering his right humerus. It's nice when he gets home quickly from the hospital. "

At the moment, there are no certainties about the times for a complete recovery.

“The doctor said that Marc has to do everything step by step, with periodic checks together with Doctor Samuel Antuña in Spain - continued Puig - The two medical teams are working closely together and this is very important. They will evaluate the situation roughly every two to three weeks. The priorities now are to heal the bone and avoid any major complications ”.
