F1, Piastri ahead in Singapore. Leclerc collides with Norris in pit lane

The Ferrari driver, only 9th at the end of the day, placed under investigation for "unsafe release." A bad day for the other Ferrari driver Hamilton, 10th. Hadjar's Racing Bulls and Alonso's Aston Martin provide the surprises.

F1: F1, Piastri ahead in Singapore. Leclerc collides with Norris in pit lane

As usual, the Singapore circuit threw up its fair share of surprises because of its close walls that make it easy to make mistakes and leave no one immune. And indeed, already in Free Practice 1 there was the surprise of Fernando Alonso's Aston Martin dictating the pace.

In the afternoon, however, at least the first position regained a more familiar configuration with overall leader Oscar Piastri. Behind him, however, was not the other McLaren, but rather the Racing Bulls of a wild Isack Hadjar, gapped by less than a tenth and a half. Third place for the man who could be the Frenchman's next pit neighbor Max Verstappen, ahead of the bet driver in the morning, while Lando Norris had to settle for fifth.

It was precisely the Englishman who was the protagonist of a contact in the pit lane with the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc, ninth at the end of the second session. And from this collision the MCL39 suffered a broken suspension, while the Monegasque was put under investigation for "unsafe pit stop release" .
