MotoGP, Dall'Igna: "Bagnaia? One test day isn't enough for such a delicate situation."

"It's too bad about the fall because he was having a good race. Marquez was amazing. His victory was impacted by a superlative Bezzecchi. Alex? He's a regular on the podium."

MotoGP: Dall'Igna:

Although their complete domination of the podium in Sunday's race failed, Ducati came away from Misano with yet another Marquez-branded success and with an ever-closer World Riders Championship. This is a result that the team's management is definitely happy about, as Gigi Dall'Igna was keen to point out.

"An exciting victory on a special track. A home GP that bears the signature of an amazing Marc Marquez, the undisputed king of a 2025 with an eleventh victory in the sixteen long races held," the engineer from Veneto said.

"A great challenge honored a circuit that set a record attendance, celebrating, in the best way possible, the renewal of its presence in the championship calendar. A victory that was difficult, desired, and imposed against fast and determined opponents. This makes us even more enthusiastic, while we still recognize the strength of our competitors," he continued.

"Without leaving out the five Ducatis among the first six bikes at the finish. The happy addition to what happened between the two up in front,"  he said, commenting about Marc's and Bez's performances and their challenge. "They raced apart by dint of fast laps. That's the only way it could've been won, putting in all the experience, generosity, and talent of which Marc is capable against a superlative, and never tame, Bezzecchi who had the merit of keeping the race going until the last meter. And then the wonderful embrace between the two in the parc ferme, to crown what the best spot for our sport is, to be applauded," he pointed out.

"Other positive notes are, first of all, the now constant presence of Alex on the podium and the great races of the other Ducati riders who reached the finish line," he concluded on a positive ntoe before opening one of the painful ones.

"It's a different situation for Bagnaia who, until he fell, was having a good race if you look at the lap times, even if he wasn't feeling the sensations he had in the free practice and qualifying sessions. Monday's tests were important for trying some alternative solutions but, let's be clear, one day isn't enough to solve such a delicate situation," he reflected bitterly before speakign to the team's supporters.

"We need to keep a clear head and confidence. Endless thanks to our fantastic fans. These wins are for them, for their affection that always sustains us and that, in home GPs, becomes even more wonderful and incredibly contagious," he concluded.
