MotoGP, Marc Marquez and his 'no' to the Suzuka 8 Hours: "I will never race there"

Ducati is thinking of participating in the endurance classic, Bagnaia would be thrilled, while his teammate has no intention of doing so

MotoGP: Marc Marquez and his 'no' to the Suzuka 8 Hours:

Racing the Suzuka 8 Hours with Ducati is a pet project of Bagnaia's. Pecco has said several times that he would like to do it, and at Silverstone he reiterated his desire to Gigi Dall'Igna, even going to the lengths of proposing to him the riders for the future crew: "me, Bulega and Petrucci." The general manager of Ducati Corse answered him with a smile.

Last year the Panigale V4 participated in the endurance classic, with the Kagayama team, a project supported by Paolo Ciabatti. It seemed like the first approach to a legendary and very complicated race, in the home of the Japanese manufacturers who hold it in the highest regard.

Bagnaia wants to try to go for a conquest in enemy territory, but some observers wondered why he did not include Marc Marquez in his hypothetical dream team. The answer is simple, because the Spaniard has always refused to participate, even when he was racing for Honda.

Marc stated it again in Aragon, as reported by El Periodico: "everyone knows that I will not race at Suzuka, absolutely not! I don't know Ducati's plans, but everyone knows that I will not race in Suzuka." We would say there is no room for him to change his mind.
