MTA team rider Matteo Bertelle won't be present in the fourth round of the Moto3 Championship in Qatar. As stated in the press release, Bertelle was the unfortunate victim of an injury during a training session in which he fractured his left humerus and right tibia. At this moment, the young Italian rider is in the hospital for treatment and tests and his recovery time is unknown.
Bertelle really didn't need this setback, since he had just reached the third step on the podium at COTA, after a start to the season in which he had demonstrated great competitiveness by also winning two consecutive poles.
