MotoGP: KTM sharpens its claws: a new fairing for the RC16 in Jerez testing.

In MotoGP, those who stand still are lost, and the evolutions are constant. Especially when it comes to aerodynamics, the preferred battleground for manufacturers. KTM has nothing to envy in this aspect to its rivals, thanks in part to its collaboration with engineers from Formula 1's Red Bull stable, but this does not mean there is no room for progress.

So, this afternoon in Jerez, it was not surprising to see a new fairing on Brad Binder's RC16. It was not exactly a revolution, but merely an evolution of the one the riders are using this season, a sign that by now even the smallest detail can make a difference. The part that is most different from the standard version is the lower part of the fairing, where the diffusers create an additional step, similar to the upper one.
