Following the results achieved last season, Honda has been able to take advantage of the super concessions starting this year. These allow you to intervene on several parts of the bike, excluding the engine, so that any necessary changes can be made.
One of these involved the chassis, on which HRC worked hard during the winter, bringing a much longer chassis to the track than the one seen in the 2022 season. During the Jerez tests, this updated component is visible to the naked eye on Vierge’s and Lecuona’s CBR 1000 RR-R.
First of all, the goal is to offer greater grip on the rear, something that the two riders particularly had problems with last year, trying to preserve the tire. We’ll see if this innovation will offer the two riders the desired effects.
