When and Where Is the 81st Annual Daytona 200?

The 81st annual Daytona 200 event will take place on March 11, 2023, in Daytona Beach, Florida. Which Professional Motorcyclists Will Be Present at 2023’s Daytona 200?

Professional motorcyclists such as Jack Gagne, Josh Hayes, Cam Petersen, Richie Escalante, and Sam Lochoff will be present competing at Daytona 200. Other well-known international motorcyclists will also be competing at the world-renowned event.

Jacob Gagne, better known as Jake Gagne on the raceway, is a 30-year-old American professional motorcyclist. As the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Champion back in 2014, he has propelled himself as an elite in MotoAmerica history. He was also the victor of the MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 event a year later. Gagne also competed in the AMA Superbike Championship during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Joshua Kurt Hayes, better known as Josh Hayes on the speedway, is a 47-year-old American professional motorcyclist. At just 19 years old, he began his motorcycle racing career. Quickly, he earned three WERA titles back in 1994 before he became a professional motorcyclist in 1996 thanks to the many more titles he earned until 1998. Hayes won an astounding four times for the AMA Superbike Championship during the years 2010 to 2012 and 2014 respectively.ì

Cameron “Cam” Petersen is a 29-year-old American professional motorcyclist of South African nationality. He won the MotoAmerican Stock 1000 contest back in 2020. He climbed the ranks of the premier class because of a Superbike win. He is also going back to using Yamaha-brand motorcycles on the speedway.

Ricardo “Richie” Escalante is a 28-year-old professional rookie motorcyclist with a famous title already. He was the first Mexican motorcyclist to be declared the victor of the AMA National Road Racing Championship, which is a win that hails representation for the Spanish community in professional motorcycle racing. His dream of getting into professional motorcycling manifested when his father won the Latin American Road Racing contest in the prime of his career.

Sam Lochoff is a 20-year-old professional motorcyclist, and he is one of the youngest in the Daytona 200 lineup. According to his Instagram page, Lochoff is the Alpe Adria 2018 Champion and scored third place in the MotoAmerica Junior Cup of 2020. He also was the third-place contender for the MotoAmerica SuperSport event in 2021 and the FIM European Supersport 300 Champion for the 2018 competition.
