Romano Fenati will return to racing in the World Championship next year and will do so with the Snipers team. The announcement arrived today and for the Italian rider from Ascoli it is a homecoming, as he already raced in Mirko Cecchini's team in 2018 when he made his debut in Moto2 and then again in 2019, this time in the cadet class.
After the unfortunate end of the rapport with Luca Boscoscuro following the Jerez GP, Fenati has decided to get back into the game in the category in which he won 13 races.
Mirko Cecchini commented: “We are happy to welcome Romano again in the Snipers family. We are sure that his talent and his experience will help the whole team to increase its worth. We both come from a delicate season in which neither of us, for different reasons, has achieved their goals. The desire for a comeback will surely guide us in the new adventure. Welcome back Romano! ".
Romano Fenati added: “I am happy to return to the Cecchini family, here I was world champion runner-up and we had a lot of fun in those years. I have no expectations other than to return to a serene and clear climate inside the garage where we can work at our best ".
