Serious accident at Mugello racetrack in the free practice of the Italian Cup

This morning around 11 o'clock, during free practice in preparation for the Italian Cup scheduled for this weekend at the Mugello International Circuit, there was a serious accident that between two riders at the exit of the Bucine.

 

The conditions of the two riders involved immediately appeared very serious. The timely intervention of the circuit's medical personnel allowed the momentary stabilization of the conditions and the transport of the most serious driver to the Careggi Polyclinic by helicopter.  

The two riders underwent treatment by Florentine doctors, but despite all efforts, the rider with the most severe injuries passed away after a few hours. On the other hand, treatment for the second pilot involved continues unabated.

For privacy reasons, the names of the two pilots involved have not yet been released.
