Ciabatti: at work to have the 'GP17' ready for the Valencia tests

The only thing that is certain is that it will not have winglets, banned by the rules, but as for the rest, the GP17 is shrouded by maximum confidentiality, the bike that Ducati will entrust to Lorenzo next year. The good news is that we will not have to wait too long to see it.

Borgo Panigale is a hive of activity with one goal: “we are working to have the 2017 version Desmosedici ready for the tests that will be held at Valencia after the last GP”, ensures sports director, Paolo Ciabatti.

It would be an excellent result, partly because in recent years the Desmosedici had always kept us waiting. This time, however, they want to speed things up in order to get the riders’ feedback already in November so they can take advantage of the winter break to make any changes.

Naturally, the two factory riders will have priority, whereas the GP17 prepared for team Pramac will probably be ready for the tests in Malaysia, scheduled from 30 January to 1 February.
