Moto3, Fractured tibia and fibula for Navarro

Jorge Navarro, winner of the latest Moto3 race at the Barcelona Grand Prix, has fractured his left tibia and fibula while bike training at the Valencia kartodromo. The Honda rider, who just one week ago scored his first world championship win, was transferred to the Hospital Universitari Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona and will undergo surgery later today.

Doctors Mir and Ginebreda will carry out the procedure, with the aim being to allow Jorge to race at Assen in ten days' time.
