A huge blow for Danilo Petrucci. According to what was just recently announced by the Barni team, the rider from Terni was involved in an accident while training on a motocross bike and fractured his collarbone and jaw, resulting in the need for surgery.
The following is the statement issued by the team:
"As a result of a fall during training on a motocross bike, Danilo Petrucci fractured his right collarbone and jaw. The Barni Spark Racing Team rider remained conscious but will now have to undergo surgery. Danilo was in Cingoli where he was preparing for the upcoming WorldSBK round."
