“On the contrary, it's very competitive. There are only small things to improve, which is also the case for our rivals, I think we can fight in every race."

“I need to think more and be less instinctive. Last year we had a technical package that meant I could use my instinct more while now that's no longer possible. It took me a little time to realise that I need to reason things out more, but better late then never (he laughs)”.
Would you be disappointed if you don't have chance to line up on the same bike against Lorenzo?
“I haven't thought about it and I won't. Truthfully, I feel at home here and if I have to leave it won't be easy to accept, I'm something of a romantic in this respect even if I don't seem to be. I think I've grown a lot in recent years and they haven't only noticed this in Ducati but also outside."
Would you agree to ride a factory Ducati for a private team like Pramac?
“I don't think so. I'd have to think about it."
