MotoGP: Steiner offers a KTM to Norris: "he can try it, it has the same color as the McLaren"

Lando Norris is a huge motorcycle enthusiast and not only because of his support for Valentino Rossi. In fact, the F1 world champion started racing dirt bikes as a child before abandoning them for 4-wheelers. The passion for motorcycling has never died down, and Gunther Steiner, the new boss of the Tech3 team, has seized the opportunity.

The South Tyrolean manager, in 'The Red Flags' podcast, officially invited Lando to try the KTM:"He is welcome to ride our bike next year. It has the same color, papaya, okay it's orange, but they are very similar. He can come and ride it, we will find a way to arrange it. It would be something nice for him, although I don't know if Zak Brown would be happy to see him ride a MotoGP bike."

It wouldn't be the first time a Formula 1 driver has clutched the handlebars of a MotoGP bike because Lewis Hamilton rode Valentino Rossi's Yamaha M1 (who in turn got behind the wheel of the Mercedes), and even earlier Michael Schumacher tested the Ducati at Mugello.
