MotoGP, Bulega: "I have no expectations in terms of results. I want to enjoy the moment."

"I'm happy and equally a little tense about this debut. The goal is to start getting familiar with the bike." Bagnaia: "The Malaysia weekend left a bad taste in my mouth but also good feelings that I want to confirm."

MotoGP: Bulega:

The Ducati Lenovo team is ready to tackle the 21st round of the season scheduled in Portugal, on a circuit where the Borgo Panigale manufacturer exceled in the last two editions.

Joining Pecco Bagnaia for the occasion will be SBK Vice-World Champion Nicolò Bulega, who'll be replacing an injured Marc Marquez, and now in his 100th appearance in the MotoGP after stints in the Moto3 and Moto2.

"I came back from Malaysia with a bad taste in my mouth, but also some positive feelings. Sunday's race definitely didn't end in the best way, even though we were competitive throughout the weekend. This was something we had lacked in the last GPs, and we need to continue in this direction. Portimão is definitely a special track with unique characteristics. We're working to find the same riding confidence that we found in Sepang," the rider from Chivasso said, motivated to take back his third place in the riders standings.

"I'm happy and, at the same time, a little tense for this debut. I want to enjoy the moment, but also do a good job with the whole team. I have no expectations in terms of results, I want to start gaining confidence on the Desmosedici GP. Let's also consider that we'll be riding on a very special and challenging track," the 26-year-old rider said with excitement.
