Preparations for the 2026 edition of the Supersport World Championship have already begun for D34G Racing, and the first important milestone is the agreement reached with Mattia Casadei. The 26-year-old rider from Rimini will be racing with the Italian team's Panigale V2 955 for the twelve rounds of the season, scheduled to start at Phillip Island on the weekend of February 20th-22nd.

Casadei was an Italian minimoto champion at the age of 12 and has most recently distinguished himself in the MotoE by securing the title in 2023, then becoming vice-champion in 2024, and he's now fighting for the 2025 scepter. Despite his young age, he already has extensive experience, including in the CIV, CEV, and Red Bull Rookies Cup, as well as several appearances in the Moto2 and the Supersport in which, this year, he achieved two pole positions.

"I'm really happy to be able to race with the D34G Racing team. Giuliano has been a great rider and a reference and has built a really good team, so it's the best situation ever for me. The goal will be to adapt to the new bike as quickly as possible and get some great results. I can't wait to get on the Ducati Supersport bike. I'd like to thank all the people who made this opportunity possible, and I look forward to the new season," the rider from Romagna said.

"He's definitely a rider with undisputed talent, very fast, and already a world champion. In his appearances in the 2025 Supersport World Championship, he's done really well, with two pole positions at Aragon and Jerez and several top placings. We had been looking for each other for a few years now and finally managed to finalize the partnership. I can't wait to see him riding our bike, and I'm super happy. I thank Mattia for the trust he put in our project and all the partners who continue to believe in us. We're ready to leave behind a difficult year to prepare for the new season, which I hope will be full of satisfaction," Team Manager Davide Giuliano concluded, enthusiastically.
