One of the most covted seats in view of 2026 is undoubtedly the one in the Go Eleven team. Unless a second bike is made, Andrea Iannone is unlikely to continue racing with the Piedmont-based team, and as a result Gianni Ramello's team is called upon to look for a replacement.
The first name on the list was that of Stefano Manzi, but apparently the Romagna rider is close to signing with GRT. At the same time the path towards Jonathan Rea has been sounded out, but Johnny is keeping everyone on standby.
In a market where there do not seem to be any great deals to be had, Go Eleven is considering some sort of gamble. According to reports, the name one everyone's lips is that of Alessandro Delbianco. The Yamaha rider, currently first in the CIV Italian Superbike Championship ahead of Pirro, is a profile that is actually quite tantalising.
As if that were not enough, Delbianco would have in Remo Gobbi, i.e., the PATA owner, quite a supporter in an eventual return to World SBK after previous experiences with Honda and Yamaha. During the Misano round there was a first contact between the two parties and Alessandro's profile has aroused the interest of the Ramello family in view of 2026.
Obviously there are no illusions for Delbianco, whose goal must be to continue to focus on the CIV and win the Italian domestic title, demonstrating his potential. The fact remains that Delbianco for Go Eleven is one name among those in contention, considering that with him it would probably mean a renewal of the sponsorship with PATA.
This is one of the scenarios not to be ruled out in view of a SBK market that promises to be incandescent in the coming weeks.
