MotoGP, Tardozzi: "Bagnaia never ceases to surprise. He has the humility of the greats."

From the red box he followed another triumphant performance by 'his' Bagnaia, so as a result, at the conclusion of the weekend in Germany Davide Tardozzi could not help but be pleased with what had transpired.

"Sorry for Jorge because he is on a Ducati and he is a very fast rider, but well done Pecco who put pressure on him and forced him into making a mistake. In the Sprint he was fantastic and in the GP very fast, but having said that we are happy to have five bikes in the top five places and to be able to have an incredibly valuable world champion with us," the Ducati manager analyzed before moving on to the world championship duel just between the two protagonists on Sunday.

"In 2023 they fought for the title until the very end, the Spaniard is a talent and could do it this year, however, there are still over 400 points at stake and it is something unpredictable. We know that both will be strong until Valencia, there we will see who will come out on top. For now we enjoy the four wins in a row, Francesco's six out of nine, and the fact that he is now leading the championship. I am happy, except for Bastianini's position on the grid, as I think it prevented him from getting a better result. I honestly think Enea had everything to do better. Third and fourth is not bad, however, he could have fought for the podium again," he continued his analysis of the race of the official Ducati riders.

Asked if Pecco's magic on the track is now a habit, the man from Ravenna replied with conviction, "He continues to surprise and above all, he doesn't stop learning and has the desire to do so. The attention he pays in the technical debriefs is typical of the humility of a champion, which is why I believe he will make further progress."

Finally joking that in SBK, Borgo Panigale's dominance would be blocked by an engine rev limitation, the 65-year-old said, "The competition is very fierce, it will still improve and in 2025 SBK will be able to count on top lineups. We are keeping our wits about us, however, I personally have great confidence in Dall'Igna and the guys, and I believe that as we respect and fear others, the reverse is also true."
