Remy Garnder was the star of a difficult debut in the SBK with the GRT Yamaha. After Wayne’s son completed the round on his home track at Phillip Island, the Australian rider failed to reach the top ten in any of the three races at Mandalika, since he probably wasn’t feeling well. In fact, upon his return, he was diagnosed with an Escherichia Coli infection and two other stomach viruses.

Tom Sykes and several other Evan Bros team riders also had similar problems in Indonesia. This proves how important it is to be super careful when racing in away matches. At the moment, we don’t have further details other than those that Remy posted on his social media channels, but he’ll definitely be on track for the third round of the World Championship in Assen in over a month from now.
