In Australia he will have the chance to win the Moto3 title, which no Italian has ever done, while in the cadet class, the last world champion was Andrea Dovizioso, in 2004, in 125. If he could, he would become the 24th Italian world champion in the lower class.

- Dalla Porta arrives 9th and Canet doesn't get better than 13th and Arbolino doesn't win.

- Dalla Porta arrives 10th and Canet doesn't get better than 14th and Arbolino doesn't win.
