MotoGP, Lucchinelli: "By not retiring Rossi makes donkeys look like champions"

Marco Lucchinelli is a true old style biker. He’s a champion to be honest, someone who has certainly never been afraid of talking straight, sometimes even brazen in expressing his ideas that are often outside the box. We met up with him at Misano during ProDay and had a really explosive interview, in which it was possible to talk to Marco about many topics.

Lucchinelli has never been shy about giving his thoughts about Valentino Rossi's present situation, which in no way is living up to the level of his incredibly successful career. Also in this case he returned to the subject, speaking with his proverbial frankness about this and many other topics including the situation of Maverick Vinales, his admiration and his doubts about Jorge Lorenzo, the risks of current Moto3 and also how the approach of the riders has changed with the advent of perhaps excessive sophistication in the world championship.
