Cal Crutchlow receives the Torrens Trophy

He'll be on track at Sepang from Monday. As he waits to climb aboard his Honda, Cal Crutchlow has received the Torrens Trophy in London. The English rider received this prestigious award from the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) for being the first British rider to win in MotoGP for 35 years. The last was Barry Sheene.

The LCR rider attended the event together with Lucio Cecchinello. His Honda had to be there too of course, the bike with which he won at both Brno and Phillip Island last season. Cal couldn't hide the emotion on his face: “It's a great honour to receive this award of course – he revealed – 2016 was an important year, but now we have to focus on the new season”.
