SBK, Andrea Iannone and that helmet as a gift to Pope Francis

In the aftermath of the passing of Pope Francis, Andrea Iannone wanted to remember the Holy Father with the helmet he gave to him during his visit to Rome in September 2018. On that occasion, a delegation of MotoGP riders visited His Holiness and donated their helmets.

Marquez and Pedrosa were there, as well as Petrucci, Miller and also Iannone. It was The Maniac's last year in Suzuki, before moving to Aprilia, and on that occasion Davide Brivio was also present to accompany him.
