After the triumphant weekend in Thailand, Ducati was also the absolute star of the second round of the season in Argentina. The round was dominated by Marc Marquez in his first race weekend at Termas de Rio Hondo since 2019. He scored his fourth consecutive win, before his brother, Alex, in just as many races held so far.

And the second episode of the new Inside Ducati Lenovo Team webseries - which documented every stage of the weekend of both the Spanish rider and his garage mate, Francesco Bagnaia, - is precisely dedicated to the Argentine GP.

Starting from an event organized by the Borgo Panigale company in Buenos Aires - during which Marquez was honored with a jersey of the Argentine national soccer team - then leading to the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, the cameras followed the two riders on and off the track, capturing never-before-seen images and behind-the-scenes footage of the weekend.

Moments of concentration, of tension, but also lots of laughs, like when Team Manager Davide Tardozzi interrupted a video call between the eight-time world champion and his girlfriend, Gemma Pinto, to ask her if she spoke Italian.

I took a few lessons,” she said. Tardozzi then jokingly replied: “We'll give you an Italian exam in Austin, and we'll record it, too. ” At that point, Marc pressed on: “How should an exam end?” … to which Gemma pleasantly responded, “Bye and and screw you.”

That was just a taste of the happy mood at the end of the weekend, when the 32-year-old rider sealed the one-two finish. This allowed him to equal Angel Nieto's record of 90 victories and become the third rider with most wins ever, as well as the first Ducati rider to win the first two Grand Prixs of the season, and the first rider in the Sprint Race era to win a Pole Position, Sprint, and the GP in the first two events of the year.

A confirmation of the Spanish rider's incredible form at the end of Qualifying at Termas, when he jokingly stated: “The young Marc Marquez is making a comeback, after he was asked if he remembered the last time he won two pole positions in a row: 2019, the year he won his last world title.
