MotoGP: BREAKING NEWS - Ai Ogura disqualified from Argentina Grand Prix

Ai Ogura was clearly the best Aprilia rider at the finish in the Argentine GP, with an 8th place after another solid race in which the Japanese Trackhouse rider had battled with riders far more experienced than himself. Unfortunately, in the evening came the announcement that he had been disqualified.

As stated in the document below, the use of unapproved and non-homologated ECU software was found in the technical controls. This contravenes Article 2.4.3.5.3 of the regulations and for this reason Ogura was disqualified from the race.

The team decided not to appeal and is waiting for a report from Aprilia to understand what happened.
