Nicolò Bulega finished the first day of testing in Portimao in second position. The world championship runner-up accused a gap of more than six tenths of a second from Toprak's BMW and something ruffled the Aruba rider's feathers a bit.
As we know, the day was affected by bad weather and as a result it was not easy to find the right way forward. "I'm quite happy, but not 100%," he said, "unfortunately I don't have the confidence I want."
Clear and transparent words those of Nicolò: "We were not able to work a lot because of the track conditions - he added - we tried some things in terms of set-up, but I didn't like them and as a result I'm not happy. In fact, I know I have some margin and I already have ideas for Saturday to try to improve."
On the other side of the box, however, Alvaro Bautista did not take to the track at all because he preferred to save a day of testing, so he'll be back in action tomorrow.
