MotoGP, Martin: "I won't be in Austin, and I don't know if I'll be ready for Qatar."

Jorge gave an update on his condition, "the recovery is not as fast as I would like. I will listen to my body and only return to the track when I am 100 percent."

MotoGP: Martin:

Jorge Martin took part in a video link-up from Spain at the opening press conference of the Argentine Grand Prix. The Aprilia rider is trying to recover as quickly as possible from his latest injury, the one suffered just days before the GP in Thailand, while he was training with a supermotard bike to check on his physical condition.

"From here I'm really suffering, it's not my moment and I'm struggling to recover as fast as I would like," Martin admitted, "I can say from here that I won't be in Austin, I would have liked to be there but I won't be racing. I don't know if I can be also in Qatar, it's still early for sure. I'd like to do some kind of test before coming back to racing, because I'm not feeling very good."

Right now, as Marquez advised him, one should not give in to haste, which is a bad counselor.

"I will listen to my body and come back when I am 100 percent," Jorge assured.

For at least two more Grands Prix, he will only see the GPs on his television set.

"It's hard to watch the races at home, of course I'm rooting for Aprilia. I get a little bored not being on the track, but these guys will give us a good show," he said before taking his leave.
