After announcing in recent months its collaboration with the Ducati Lenovo team for 2025, WRS has now entered into an important new partnership in the MotoGP arena, forging an agreement with the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team.
The Romagna-based company, a world leader in the production of motorcycle fairings, will provide the Austrian team with custom fairings for the KTM RC16s of Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder, in all 22 rounds on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
It's another big milestone for WRS, which started its business in 2008 with a small craftsmanship department to develop fairings for top touring and supersport bikes. It then gradually expanded its reach through the use of the latest technologies, such as laser cutting, 3D scanners, CNC milling machines and simulation software, and the excellence of its Made in Italy products. Characteristics that have led the Cattolica-based company to collaborate with the most prestigious teams in international motorcycling and boating.
"I thank WRS and its staff for their support of our MotoGP races in 2025. Its fairings are also used by our test team, the components are of high quality, and they are exactly what we need," said Aki Ajo, Team Manager of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team. "We also appreciate the proactive approach and enthusiasm of WRS: this perspective makes them the best partners with whom to continue to push for the standards and efficiency with which to chase those last important details for success."
A partnership also undertaken with great enthusiasm by Nicolas Zavoli, CEO of WRS. "We are proud to partner with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing in its pursuit of excellence in MotoGP. Competition drives our innovation, and this partnership reinforces our commitment to providing high-performance solutions to teams in elite racing," he said. "We are excited to assist in the development of the championship with talented riders like Pedro Acosta and Brad Binder. It's sure to be fun, and we at WRS are ready!"
