MotoGP: Fernandez and Ogura unveil: Aprilia Trackhouse with Gulf

At 8:30 a.m. Thai time, on Friday morning, just before the FP1 Moto3, Trackhouse was the latest team to unveil the 2025 livery colors that it's bringing to the track in the MotoGP World Championship.

But even bigger news is instead represented by Gulf Oil. The American oil company (already a partner in the past of Williams and McLaren) is the new main sponsor of the team led by Davide Brivio, which will also change its name to Gulf Oil Trackhouse MotoGP Team for the occasion.

The colors on the livery of the RS-GP 2025 are the union of light blue and orange. Of course, even the riders -  Raul Fernandez, Rivola's protégé, and Ogura, the reigning Moto2 world champion - are excited and curious about the news.

This is the legendary livery carried to victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans by Ford-Gulf.

An iconic car that gained worldwide visibility when Gulf vice president Grady Davis established a link between the Gulf brand and John Wyer (of JW Automotive Engineering) to organize Gulf's participation in the World Endurance Championship (WEC).

The Gulf-JW Automotive team became a legendary force between 1967 and 1975 with the Ford GT40, Porsche 917 and Mirage competition cars. Gulf won the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1968, while in 1969 and 1975 they won the title at the World Sports Car Championship.

Also during this period the now iconic Gulf racing colors, blue and orange, made their first appearance.

“From the moment I fell in love with motorsports, I have admired and been inspired by the iconic Gulf livery,” said Justin Marks, founder and owner of TrackHouse Racing. ”To be able to unveil the Gulf Trackhouse Aprilia motorcycles is a deeply personal thrill. It is an honor and a privilege to collaborate with such an iconic MotoGP brand and we can't wait to see the bikes on the track.”
