MotoGP, Bautista: "Marquez has a better chance than anyone to win the World Championship"

Superbike riders: Alvaro: "Marc comes better prepared in Thailand." Bulega: "A Prediction? I hope Bagnaia!" Petrucci: "I hope for a Bagnaia-Bezzecchi one-two, but I fear for them that Marc will be there."

MotoGP: Bautista:

The Superbike got underway last weekend. Now it's the MotoGP's turn, as it opens 2025 on the Buriram track. Many expect a head-to-head between Marquez and Bagnaia for the World Championship, so we also asked the riders for a prediction on the matter.

Bautista expressed a very clear thought on the subject: "Marc is Marc and, over the winter, he's been very strong," he said. "We saw he was competitive in Sepang and then also in Buriram. Now that he has the chance to have the most competitive bike on the grid, in the strongest team of all, he has everything he needs to win."

The Spanish rider then extoled his fellow countryman: "When you put a rider like him on a bike like the factory Ducati, you're obviously aiming for victory. It definitely won't be easy, because anything can happen in racing. Marquez is coming to this race better prepared than anyone else and, in my opinion, he has a better chance of winning the title than anyone else. But let's not forget Pecco. Hw has experience with this bike and is the only one who can counter it."

Danilo Petrucci then added: "I hope for a Bagnaia-Bezzecchi one-two in Buriram with Marquez third. Pecco is an Italian rider while Bezz is my friend and, consequently, I'm rooting for him. I'd love to see Marco on the podium with the Aprilia. Marquez? I said third, but I fear for them that he'll be there up in front."

Bulega was, instead, succinct: "A prediction? I hope Bagnaia!"
