MotoGP: Di Giannatonio back on Ducati VR46 in Buriram:

Fabio Di Giannantonio is ready to get back on the bike. The VR46 team rider had fractured his collarbone at the end of the first day of winter tests in Sepang and had to undergo surgery. He had to miss practically all the pre-season tests but he'll be in Thailand for the first Grand Prix of the season and will find the Ducati GP25 in his garage again.

"I'm really happy to finally be able to take this first flight to Thailand and start a new season," Di Giannantonio said. "The recovery went well. I've been working hard at home. and I feel ready to go. I can't wait to start working with the team again and get to know my new bike better. I'm pumped up and motivated. It'll definitely be a weekend of growth, where we'll have to start almost from scratch and understand so many things. The motivation is really very high."

But the winter season was entirely different for his teammate, Franco Morbidelli, who made the most of the tests in Malaysia and Thailand as he got to know his new team and make progress on the GP24, the same bike he rode last season.

"I'm very happy to start the 2025 championship in Thailand," Morbido said. "We'll certainly leave with a special charge, both for the positive tests we've done and for the enthusiasm of this new adventure. Two weeks ago, on this circuit, we worked very well to prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the Grand Prix, so we can't wait to start. We're all very pumped up for this first race, and we'll try to do our best."
