SBK, Toprak: "This is the Ducati Cup. So I don't continue anymore."

"This is supposed to be Superbike and not the Ducati Cup. It doesn't make sense to continue in this situation, because no one is having fun and it's not a normal situation."

SBK: Toprak:

Toprak Razgatlioglu did not pick up one single point on Sunday at Phillip Island. In Race 2 the Turkish rider retired and in the post-race he did not show up for the traditional media meeting.

He only spoke to Dorna TV, making very clear and transparent declarations.

"This morning in Superpole I struggled, in fact I had big problems - he began - I was lucky not to hit anyone and not to crash. Then in Race 2 we tried to improve the bike, going back to the same base as Saturday. Unfortunately, there were several problems and for that reason we did not continue."

For the Turk it was an uphill start to the Championship....
"I never had a strong start in the first race. Every year I don't start well and it's strange. However, I am thinking about the next race and fighting with all the Ducatis, since this is almost a Ducati Cup!"

Now we head to the Portimao test scheduled for mid-March.
"We need a test! Two days will be very important to improve the bike and we will try to do the best we can."

His closing remark was on the Ducati dominance seen today.

"I am not surprised by Bulega and Alvaro, in fact I give them my compliments for their work. The fact is that it is not normal that there are all these Ducatis in front, because this is Superbike and not the Ducati Cup. From the outside I don't think anyone enjoys watching this spectacle. If the situation stays like this, I think I won't continue racing in this championship anymore."
