SBK: Phillip Island weekend over for Lecuona

Iker Lecuona's season has started off in the worst possible way. During Superpole, the Honda rider went down at Turn 9, suffering a fracture of the fourth metatarsal of his left foot.

The doctors declared him unfit, so as a result the Spaniard's weekend is already over. After Johnny Rea, who was injured in Monday's tests, the grid now does not see the presence of another rider, namely Lecuona.

The hope is to find him back on the grid again in Portimao at the end of March for the second round of the season.
