In the evocative setting of Bimota's headquarters at Cerasolo, in the province of Rimini, the KB998, the bike with which the renowned Romagna-based manufacturer will return to compete in World Superbike under the banner of the Bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team, was officially unveiled. In the center of the Motor Valley, riders Axel Bassani and Alex Lowes unveiled the livery of the two bikes destined for the Provec team for the 2025 season. The new livery features an eye-catching mix of white, black and red, colors already present in the road version of the KB998 Rimini, enhanced by elegant blue highlights.

This model represents a real revolution compared to the Ninja ZX-10RR, keeping only the inline four-cylinder engine developed by Kawasaki, which alternates power and outstanding performance. The synergy between Bimota and Kawasaki and the partnership with Motul have resulted in a motorcycle designed with cutting-edge technology, harnessing the combined skills of the two manufacturers to create a product destined for success.

During the presentation, Pierluigi Marconi, a key figure behind the creation of the KB998 Rimini, said, "A level bike is the result of a powerful engine, high-quality electronics and a chassis that maximizes tyre grip. Careful aerodynamic design is essential to enhance engine performance, thus ensuring maximum grip in corners. These elements combined constitute the essence of our new creature."

Guim Roda then shared his impressions of the collaboration, saying, "We are in a period of innovation. Although the team has remained the same, this new alliance with Kawasaki gives us access to incredible resources, allowing us to explore the full potential of the KB998. Our expectations? We are aiming for victory!"

The riders were also no less than forthcoming in their statements, "This bike is simply spectacular and I can't wait to get back on the track," said Bassani , "We have a top-notch package. The KB998 is a total novelty compared to the past, and we are confident that we can do a quality job."

Alex Lowes added, "This is an exciting time for us," he said, "The Bimota has extraordinary potential, as we saw in winter testing. In Jerez, the work done was outstanding, and now we continue to work in the same direction."
