MotoGP, Estrella Galicia, always by Marquez's side, is now Ducati's official beer

The brand that has accompanied Marc Marquez since the beginning of his career will be alongside the Ducati team. Negotiations began last August

MotoGP: Estrella Galicia, always by Marquez's side, is now Ducati's official beer

We even anticipated it on August 18, last year at the Red Bull Ring: Estrella Galicia 0.0 will be the official beer of the Ducati Lenovo Team. After unveiling the sponsorship on Marc Márquez's helmet during the team's presentation in Madonna di Campiglio (Italy) in January, the Spanish non-alcoholic beer brand announces an even broader agreement with the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer in the MotoGP World Championship.

With this announcement, Estrella Galicia 0,0 consolidates its presence in the premier class of motorcycle racing through an alliance with the reigning Constructors' World Champion. This season's rider lineup will consist of three-time World Champion Francesco Bagnaia and eight-time World Champion Marc Márquez, one of the most important additions to this year's grid and an iconic sportsman for the beer brand's strategy in the world of motorcycle racing.

Estrella Galicia 0.0 has a long history in motorcycle racing and maintains a strong presence in the paddock as the "official beer of MotoGP." The brand is well known for its commitment to supporting young motorcycle racing talent since the 2011 season, and has since supported a multitude of riders from promotional competitions to the MotoGP class. Marc Márquez is the biggest exponent of this strategy of supporting talent, but today there are more than twenty riders on the grid in the top category who have received support from Estrella Galicia 0,0 at some point in their careers. Besides Marc Márquez, one of them was Francesco Bagnaia, who competed with Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 in Spain's CEV Championship between 2010 and 2012, before making the jump to the World Championship in 2013.

"We are very happy to become the official beer of Ducati Corse, an iconic brand in the world of motorcycle racing with which we share a philosophy based on passion, excellence and innovation," said José Villanueva, global director of content and sponsorship at Hijos de Rivera. "It is especially gratifying to do so alongside two outstanding champions: Pecco Bagnaia, an old friend whom we meet again after his time in the lower categories, and Marc Márquez, with whom we began our journey in this wonderful sport more than a decade ago. With all these elements, we are sure that next season will give us great moments to celebrate with Estrella Galicia 0.0."

"I am very happy to welcome Estrella Galicia 0,0 to the Ducati universe and more specifically to the Ducati Lenovo Team," added Mauro Grassilli, Ducati Corse Sporting Director. "It is a brand that has been present in MotoGP for many years, supporting riders and young talents who dream of reaching the premier class. We are happy that such a strong sponsor in motorsport has decided to join our project."
