The Phillip Island test started in the worst possible way for Toprak Razgatlioglu. During the first minutes of the session, the BMW rider suffered a violent highside at Turn 6.
In the crash, the Turk hit his operated finger on the asphalt and later stopped without returning to the track. Regarding what happened, BMW has not released any official communication.
It appears that there are no fractures, but nothing is certain. The hope is to have the Turkish champion back on track for the afternoon session, which will start at 3:40 p.m., or 5:40 a.m. Italian time.
