The World Superbike Championship is ready to start again and there is no shortage of curiosity to see what the form factor in the races will be. There are several questions: will Toprak reconfirm himself as champion or will Bulega spoil his party? For Bautista will it be the year of redemption or will Iannone and Petrucci become the threats of the World Championship? And what will Bimota do: will it win immediately?
The fact is that at the MotoGP tests we asked the riders for their opinion, and there was no shortage of feedback from them. Among them was Luca Marini, who didn't mince his words: "This year Bulega is going to slaughter Toprak! - the Honda rider told us at Buriram - Nicolò is very strong. Last year Toprak had a missile in the straights. He certainly has a monstrous talent, he is very good, but the same goes for Bulega. I am convinced there will be fun."
A friend of the Aruba rider, namely Enea Bastianini, also spoke on the subject : "Nicolò knows very well that Toprak will be a tough rival, but I see him very much in form and I am convinced he will give him a hard time."
Franco Morbidelli also joined the list: "Bubi is great. He did very well last year and we are all rooting for him. Toprak is very strong, he is a great champion and he will have to give a lot of gas. There are so many champions in Superbike and I'm curious to watch the races."
In a week, the Phillip Island track will give us the first feedback.
