Bimota and Kawasaki really surprised everyone when they announced that in 2025 they would take to the track together with an unprecedented project designed to bring together two great manufacturing excellences. On the one hand, the Japanese company, with enormous know-how on the technical part involving the engine and electronics, and on the other hand, the Italian manufacturer that has always created motorcycles with innovative and even winning chassis.
From this union was born the KB998 Rimini, which takes the shape of the Kawasaki ZX-10 RR but puts a completely different substance on the plate. Explaining how it all came about is engineer Pierluigi Marconi, the father of many Bimota bikes and the creative mind behind this project.
